Handyman burns 73 year old woman alive for refusing to pay debt of $2,000.

Jerome Isaac, arrested and charged.
73 year old Ms Gillespie went out grocery shopping and returned to her Brooklyn apartment – possibly to unpack her groceries and relax for the day but she never even made it out of the elevator. Waiting for her as the elevator opened was Jerome Isaac 47 who had been living with her and working for her as a handyman before he was fired for stealing from her.
Jerome who had been demanding payment from Ms Gillespie for work done by him, decided that since she’d refused to pay him, he would “pay her” in his own twisted way.
When the elevator door opened, he sprayed her in the face and across her body with gasoline and set her on fire with a Molotov cocktail.
Captured images showing how he set Ms Gillespie on fire.
The elderly woman cowered in the corner of the elevator and tried to shield herself, but neighbors say they heard her screams of agony as she burned to death while Jerome fled the scene.
Elevator where she burned to death
Jerome who turned himself in to the police reeking of gasoline, with the entire left half of his face singed from the fire, appeared in public for the time since his arrest today.
He has been charged with first degree murder.
Oh, and the amount Ms Gillespie apparently owed him? $2,000.
